This is an angle that we don't see often, I for one would like to see it more! Well done Tim!

Awesome shot! You can see right inside of the MD-11's nice, large cockpit windows...makes me want to go for a ride.

I love the light on the throttles and the shadows they cast over the center console. In a way, this attribute foreshadows the amazing abilities and power of this fine aircraft! Definitely 5*****

Cool pic. I believe this was the first ever KLM MD-11, and I just love that KLM paint job.

The DC-10/MD-11 flightdeck windows are superb, probably the best of all airliners. Great photo from a different angle, very interesting.

Weird, sometimes KLMs look like that shade of blue, sometimes they look like a lighter shade.

I think there was an exposure of a few seconds because you can see a trail with lights in the background, made by a plane.

Nighttime conditions allowing for crisper conrast as well as forcing color to
"pop" and grab your eye = would like more evidence of type/make of plane as
matter ofcuriosity. thanks

Is it a UFO in the sky?

I love this photo. In this angle the MD-11 windows look even more huge than they already are in reality!
No, it is not a UFO in the sky! Since the shutter speed was low for this photo (look at the car lights) I suppose it is just the lights of a plane with the strobe and nav. lights blinking several times while the shutter was open.
