After a very rough landing in pouring rain, KCI used full reverse thrust to come to a halt. Apparently the center engine's cowling got stuck while reverse thrusting. (Canon Rebel XT/350D-Canon EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM)

And this, is why three-holers are obsolete. Any small maintenance on that Engine 2 requires so much more effort being all the way up there than engines on the wings. Great picture though! Shows how huge that tail section really is.

I heard that klm will get rid off there md-11 in 2012... So take picture`s well the still flying because soon they will be gone.
