A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat January 8, 2011: But in Eschede ist was class 401 (ICE 1) train - this is class 406 (ICE 3M) - which has no locomotives as the 401 but has 16 traction motors underneath the whole train! Nice shot anyhow!

By the way: the crash with about 100 fatalities was 10 years ago at Eschede and not with this ICE3-type. The youngest ICE-accident one month ago had no fatalities, but looked like this 747: scary.
