HL7442 (cn 20559/186) Seen with "I Love New York" sticker for new SEL-ANC-JFK flights starting during April 1979. First flight was March 17, 1982. Delivery date was March 31, 1972. Other serials - D-ABYH with Condor. Sadly, W/O September 1, 1983 near Shakhalin Island over Okhotsk Sea when shot down. There were 269 fatalities - r.i.p.

I used to fuel this aircraft at LAX. My autograph is on the inside of the fuel door somewhere on the bottom of the ocean.

Sadly, this aircraft was a victim of the Cold War and the Iron Curtain. Unfortunatelly, all 269 on board were killed in an act of war. We will never forget them.
