As a photograph it's a good shot, with sun in the right position. I wish Kurdistan Airlines well in their endeavour and hope they do well. However I would strongly suggest the Kurdish people not to create a (USA's) puppet country but stick to their rights as an integral part of the Republic of Turkey, which they co-established in 1923 with their Turkish brothers. An Aussie Turk...ps. I hope Air Kuridtan maintain this beaut B732 well. After all, it's mature lady :)

Having "International Kurdish Airlines", todays we have more hope to develope a free and developed kurdistan.

Simply put ... Boeing is by far the best aircraft manufacturer there is. I love the 7-3's, they never cease to amaze me. 5 Thumbs up to a great photo...

A visitor from United States posted Thu June 22, 2006:
“Kurdistan isn't even an official country - I wonder where they are registered?”…Well it’s a part of a sovereign country, isn’t it? Registration is not a big problem, Many planes are registered in countries other than were they operate, Look at Iraqi Airways planes for instance!!

A visitor from Denmark posted Thu May 18, 2006:
Glad to see that, it's a big step in Kurdish history and a great victory for us as Kurds.

A visitor from - posted Thu May 4, 2006:
Well they already fly to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Stockholm and London. The only country opposing the airline is turkey, but its ok. Who needs to fly to Istanbul anyways when they can go direct to Europe.

A visitor from - posted Tue April 25, 2006:
The fact that I am an American Kurd and this is our first airline, and the first picture of the first airplane in our fleet. Thank you airliners.net for posting this picture. You have made me and many other Kurdish people happy all over the globe.

Kurdistan isn't even an official country - I wonder where they are registered? I can't imagine what their routes would be - certainly not to Ankara, Baghdad, or Tehran!
