This a/c was among the first LAPA’s jetliners. At the short leading edge slats you can recognize this is not an advanced model. Sadly, it was scraped a couple of years later. Former South African Airlines ZS-SBP.

I just want to say that is not only a nice picture , but it shows a nice period for the national air industry in Argentina on which they had more private airlines , like LAPA , SOUTHERWINDS, LAER , etc that brought more choices to the people that Aerolineas and Austral , that golden age is now long gone and thieves like LAN had taken over the market now , i`m SO sorry

To The visitor from Canada, I'd like to say that LAN Airlines is in expansion project, they have permission at all Latin America to operate, LAN isn't a thief airline, they are a great airline and it's prices are OK.

To the vistitor from CHILE. LAN is a bad company, with bad plans over the AR´s market. Dear LAN people, please stay at the other side of the Andes!
