The Libyan Arab Republic AF received eight Hercules in 1970 before a similar number on order were caught by the embargo. At least two of those delivered have recently been refurbished and now fly in a dark grey scheme, but this pair (117 behind) are looking rather forlorn

Deliberate Neglect is the only plausible cause for such profound decay in an environment conducive to prerservation.(e.g. Davis-Monthan).The bigger question would be why.It is a good photo because the right setting was required for us to see all the gory detail inspie of the ambient brilliant sunshine.
