36 (cn 1G194-18) Air Force An-2 is taxiing for departure to Tallin, Riga and Vilnius. It was flight commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Baltic Way, a peaceful political demonstration that occurred on August 23, 1989, when approximately two million people joined their hands to form a human chain spanning over 600 kilometres across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. This aircaft was operated by National Defence Volunteers Forces aviation unit, which was disbanded at the end of 2009. Its logo is visible on the fuselage.
