Remark Photographer
N305EA (cn 193A-1006) Part of this Lockheed demonstrator's world tour was a promotional flight for Court Line at Manchester prior to delivery to Eastern (23.11.72). She became N782DL with Delta in 1.92, was retired to Mojave in 11.96 and scrapped in 9.02. This is probably my most valuable TriStar slide and I was lucky to be there at the time

What a superb-looking hybrid on the great L1011. It looks so modern and cutting edge. Thank you very much for sharing this photo. Mario R.

I remember this visit well as a six year old: a 24 (Shadowmoss end) approach in the early evening if I recall. So long ago now, but happy days. Little did I realise I'd end up working on L1011s.

Wow, this shot brings back great memories of the "whisperliner," all but a mere vestige of the glory days. 5*
