Sad, sad view... We have the same model in our Uniformed Police (Carabineros de Chile); gorgeous machines. Hope no chilean police A109E gets her tail off the same way!

It is smoke from burning leafs by some gardner but its really great combination with this photo , isnt it?.

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 21, 2009:
Why is there smoke behind the tree in the background? Is that related?

A visitor from Poland posted Sat November 21, 2009:
You`re right, that accident was caused by ground resonance. After landing rotor start to shake, and one of the baldes just cut off the tail of the helicopter. That was trainig flight, so only pilots were inside, both of them are injured. The halicopter is too damaged and it won`t be repaired. That was the only Agusta A 109 Power in LPR. Hard times for Polish people, once again without good air-ambulace. Let`s hope Mi-2 will do their best.

A visitor from Poland posted Sat November 21, 2009:
It was a test of emergency landing with one engine working - two pilots onboard, both light injured.

Probable ground resonance incident.

A visitor from Switzerland posted Sat November 21, 2009:
After landing and starting the shut down procedures the helicopter
started to shake violently, according to witness, rotor blades hit and
cut of the tail.

Ouch. So Jakub, tell us what happened here. It is obviously an air-ambulance. Hopefully there were no fatalities.
