You don't get this view too often! Taken from the captains seat, looking back towards the F/O and observer seats and the circuit breaker panel.

Couldn't agree more with your remark, that's an extremely rare perspective for a cockpit shot, I wonder why?!! Kudos Felix and keep up the great work.

Regards from SoCal.

Have those seats been bought in a camping store?

Interesting picture. But the plane looks like an old ride at Disneyland.

The headrest folds down for access to the circuit breakers by grabbing the two levers centered below the headrest. The seat also folds up and the whole assembly slides back in front of the cb panel to clear the doorway, although in this position it is locked in place. This is the 1st Observer's seat. The 2nd Observers seat is directly behind the Capt's seat and it is stationary and the seat folds up to clear the Capt's seat back. The number of seats is governed by the occupants access to emergency oxygen. The seat cushions are adequate but about as comfortable as they look. But if you're an airplane nerd like me, they do just fine.

Such a modern aircraft, yet such an antiquated-looking cockpit. All that's missing are rows of dials.
