WOW, that's a climb rate! The crew seem to had a lot of fun on their last ever A-300 flight due to the retirement of the fleet on the next day. I too had a lot of fun on that flight with such a great atmosphere and sparkling wine for everyone as a gift of the crew. Bye bye A300-600 and as the display during boarding said "Bye bye A 300-600 We will miss you!".

Very nice shot. the A-300 has a very good climb rate. and if i'm right, they took off with retracted flaps - amazing!

I will miss the "mighty beast" too... love the old-fashioned vintage Airbus... they keep me back to the days when I spotted them at my hometown airport, Milan Linate, and they kept loyal service with Alitalia, Olympic Airways, Lufthansa, TAP... I am sure we all shared a tear for a piece of airliners history (and of our lives as well ;-) that is going...

Thank you Georg! The A300/310 will always be king in my books with the simple and beautiful design and the short and long haul uses its had!

Very impressive. However regarding the commentary about T/O without flaps, the leading edge slats are always used.

Awww please dont retire A300 is one of the best airliners in the world! See how powerful the motors are that it climbs like Sukhoi SU27!! Goodbye old friend it was a pleasure to fly on you all that time ago.

The wonderful 15/0 takeoff that only the A300/310s can do (slats 15 and inboard aileron 15 degrees and flaps 0). Great shot!

Oh my goodness !!! How scary ! I remember being on an old NAMC turboprop airplane, and the takeoff was very very steep - a few people started screaming ! :)

You can tell by the high-speed-aileron that the flaps are set, but only first position

Was that a revenue flight? I imagine most passengers would be screaming and not caring anything about being part of aviation history!
