The tables have to be stowed for taxi, take-off and landing... That little paper is a list of the aircraft rotation for the day, incl. flight numbers and booking estimates.
I see the Capt misses his control column note clip. He had to stick his note paper in the seam of the instrument panel trim piece. Of course they DO have the pull-out table right in front of their knees. The handle for the pull out table is right between the fold down foot rests. The tables fold in half and open up to a full size dinner tray. But when folded in half as seen here they still have a coffee cup detent off to one side. The designers missed no detail. And the table has a tilt feature. The right-hand end cap on the center handle pushes in at the bottom. This allows the table to tilt a few dgrees for the pilot's convenience. It's a unique and somewhat hidden feature. I know a few folks who didn't even know the table had a tilt feature. It's not labeled.
Light is great although the sight outside is not clear enough
Very good angle..picture quality and Aircraft type
OMG... the thing between the legs is missing!
Fantastic photo showing all the systems on an A320 working as they should. It's quite rare to see photo's of pilots using an FPA landing with a low decent rate of 1.9degrees. I've flown many approaches with the FPA on many A320 simulators and it's just such a handy tool to be able to utilise to its full capabilities. Definitely makes low visibility, fully manual landings, an absolute doddle!
Nice pic!! But why do aviators need a "Flight-Path-Angle-mode" to land? This thing really is a flying computer with seats and wings!! Impressive though! :-)
Whatever that means. | |
Great shot Felix! There are some very interesting things to see here!
Nice!!! Best of the Best of the Best)))))
Thanks for pointing out the use of the FPA mode! Helps at my training.
