D-AIGL (cn 135) Ex F-WWJS. "Herne" - LH406 to JFK 'crawling' out of FRA... The almost non-existent climb rate of the 343 provides a nice view of the 'Main river' and some rain showers in the background.

The old A340-300 has got a bad climbrate but the new A340 (A340-313X and A340-313E) have a better climbrate because they have more powerful engines.
