There's something about the colors chosen that kind of ticks me off... creme/black is not something I would like to be looking at on a 10 hour flight.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Sat June 11, 2011:
Elegant-simple-highquality.As first class should be.Bye bye EK with your plastic bling.

A visitor from Australia posted Wed November 3, 2010:
Can't people see the wall that raised up in the back row to separate the middle seats?

A visitor from Ireland posted Sun June 20, 2010:
The lay-out and decor is very German - clean, crisp lines, neutral colours, not very warm and cosy looking !

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat June 5, 2010:
All i can see in this brilliant photograph are solid materials. not at all the plastic-like-feeling offered by competitors. And there is a lot of space for privacy. the photo makes me curious.

A visitor from Ireland posted Fri June 4, 2010:
The cabin looks a bit severe and hospital-esque with all the white and beige.

But at least they are not those lonely suites like on Emirates and Singapore.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed June 2, 2010:
Give me a break. This design is just in a complete different league compared to the gold bling style of Emirates or the odd dark wood of Qantas. This is contemporary European design. Welldone Lufthansa.

A visitor from - posted Tue June 1, 2010:
I like it.
Looks simple, modern, and classy.

I wouldn't want it in rainbow colors.

A visitor from - posted Tue June 1, 2010:
While there is no wow effect, the new first class is very classy in detail, the materials and finishing with leather, high quality materials and surfaces. It was the deliberate decision to go for this style, and it is typically Lufthansa and what customers are expecting.

A visitor from Germany posted Tue June 1, 2010:
Great Photo. I like it. I think we all know Lufthansa´s policy. They were the only one writing black numbers during the crisis 2009, they know what they do and what they offer. And us, the customers, know what we get when we fly with Lufthansa, more than 55 years of experience.

A visitor from Turkey posted Tue June 1, 2010:
This seems like a Pic from the 90s ore even earlier. The Cabin look so old ...

A visitor from Germany posted Tue June 1, 2010:
Yes, go to lufthansas homepage and follow the link to the A380 page and theres an interactive tour. This photo doesn't do justice, its an extremely classy look and the walls go up to form suites, you have your own wardrobe closet. Mellow and professional. Go LH! Better than the glittery tacky stuff on Emirates ships.

A visitor from Germany posted Tue June 1, 2010:
Have a look at LH's A38-0 webpage. The cabin looks much better in comparison to this picture.

A visitor from Brazil posted Mon May 31, 2010:
It looks cheap! Shame on you LH!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 31, 2010:
I thought it will be in the same league with EK, EY and SQ but it is still way behind, not even close to the new BA F/C. Very disappointing.

A visitor from France posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Uggly, Cold and Boring what a Shame for Lufthansa.

A visitor from Germany posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Thanks for posting! Lufthansa is my favourite airline but I am very disappointed about their A380. You can not sell first class tickets for this. The business classes of most of the airlines are as spacious and even allow more privacy. What a pity.

A visitor from Brazil posted Mon May 31, 2010:
A new era is about to begin for Lufthansa !

A visitor from Germany posted Mon May 31, 2010:
I don't understand the problem in this case. You sit alone, you get a tv, food, entertainment and plus you fly in a new plane. what more do you need? :)

A visitor from Germany posted Mon May 31, 2010:
I watched the delivery live on TV here in Germany, this is a nice photo but the angle really does not do the cabin justice. The walls go up on the sides to make it a small suite, there is a big TV in front, seats obviously lie flat, and they are extremely roomy. The design is really mellow and classz imho.
Cant wait to see her in Stuttgart wednesday!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Looks very plastic-y. Even BA's new First product is better than this

A visitor from - posted Mon May 31, 2010:
The lighting and the perspective of this photo do LH's first class product no justice. It is very classy in reality!

A visitor from - posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Love this airline, but I'm disappointed upon seeing their a380. They really need a major upgrading...New Livery...New Layout...New Design = Even Better Airline

A visitor from Belgium posted Mon May 31, 2010:
It looks great for SAS, but not lufthansa, it's like a cheap IKEA set up.
I wish that lufthansa uses the same seats that swiss uses on their new A330-300

A visitor from Malaysia posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Honestly, it is much worse than air asia x economy class!!!

A visitor from - posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Wow...Is it First Class??? It looks like an older style...should be in "C" Class.

A visitor from United States posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Looks plain. No obvious luxury here. I want to be pampered. This looks like an American office or beauty shop. Alot of cold plastic. Where's the leather seats?

A visitor from Poland posted Mon May 31, 2010:
I think they can do much better then this. Looks comfortable but not so cosy. Maybe the lightening is making it looks so cold. But still i was expecting more from one of the world biggest airline.

A visitor from France posted Mon May 31, 2010:
I like Lufthansa for transatlantic flights, but this time I'm rather going to use AF's 380, it looks much better as for the first class. I'm disappointed.

A visitor from Germany posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Great capture. I think some people don't know that the walls around the seats can be raised to build up a suite.

A visitor from Germany posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Not really what someone would consider First Class!!! Actually very disappointing.

A visitor from Australia posted Mon May 31, 2010:
This picture doesn't do the cabin justice. Lufthansa's first class is a beautiful product.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Great job Konstantin at allowing us to see all the relevant types of seat configurations and details. Reminds me of Audi: understated luxury, great attention to details and comfort+efficiency for the long run, not just the show room. Read it was designed with the feedback from FF which looks obvious. This is the cabin you can fly and fly again without being tired of it. The privacy screens are the best option I have seen so far, you may choose privacy or unobstructed view.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Great pic. LH's first class is very classy and elegant. Love that simplicity.

A visitor from Australia posted Mon May 31, 2010:
A little bit disappointed about that seat. Thought it should be better.

A visitor from Malta posted Mon May 31, 2010:
Expected much better from lufthansa!! it looks so plain and simple!!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 31, 2010:
I don't agree with you. It may look "cheap" from a distance but the details and materials are really first class. German simplicity and high tech. No trashy wood furnishing or tacky gold colors here like on Emirates' ships. That looks really cheap in my opinion.
Thanks to Konstantin for the nice overview!

A visitor from - posted Sun May 30, 2010:
I think it looks great but on closer inspection maybe a bit cheap.

A visitor from - posted Sun May 30, 2010:
I don't like it =\ I was expecting better than that!!!
