Great photo! Brings back many fond memories. Those Northwest 747s served London-Gatwick and Glasgow. At the time NW was located at Terminal B however all International arrivals had to go through Terminal E which is why the NW planes are located here. After the passengers deplaned they would tow the aircraft over to Terminal B for the subsequent evening departures back to Europe. Today Amsterdam is the only European city served out of Boston by NW (Delta) using the A330.

Terminal E has gone through alot of changes, still standing though. The "golf ball" ontop of the ATCT looks funny compared to the newer AMASS radar. Think they'll ever have 4 747's again?
