I saw this plane at Denver International Airport in April! I was eating at the cafe adjacent to the gate that it was sitting at, although it didn't depart from that gate, I think. I've seen photos of this plane on a.net at other airports as well. This must be a busy, beautiful, 744!

The terrific angle of the shot showing
a) the side of the plane
b) The parts of the massive Boeing 747 wings
Great photo. Oh and Lufthansa created the best logo "50 years" eye-catching yet not too "busy looking"!

If you think about it, the 747 is the only Boeing plane Lufthansa really uses, has on order, and has no true substitute for. The handful of 737's it has are aging, and probably to be replaced by Airbuses.

This airplane operated 11 Jul EZE-FRA before and I was on that flight... cool!!
