9G-MKH (cn 46153/551) MK was formed in 1990 to provide cost effective and reliable air cargo capacity to the world cargo industry. The DC-8 was designed for improved power, payload and range capacities. There were passenger, freighter and covertible freighter versions produced, from the version 10 through the version 50 and then the 'Super' 60 series, which incorporated an extended fuselage, extra payload capacity, and long range aerodynamic and power plant improvements.
