VH-AAX (cn 1411) Front view of DHC-2 (Turbo) Beaver VH-AAX (Cn 1411, built 1959, parked at Moorabbin Airport in 1987. The one-off Walleroo 605 Turboprop conversion was carried out in Australia in 1968, installing a Garrett AiResearch TPE331 Engine. I also photographed this aircraft at Wangaratta Victoria in 1988. Then (and now), she was being used for Sky Diving (where people with parachutes jump out of Serviceable aircraft - for fun!).
