9M-MPD (cn 25701/997) This made my day. I couldn't quite believe I was finally going to photograph her, as I saw her turn onto the ILS. The late afternoon sunlight intensifies the colours of the bright fuselage [350D]

A visitor from Ghana posted Wed October 12, 2005:
The light, the angle. the way I can see the wing, the look "into" the turning engines, the sharpness, I can "HEAR" the sound from the picture.... if I had made it, I would be proud, 10 out of 10 for Mr Nicholson; it "personifies" flying for me...but then I am mad about flying

A visitor from Indonesia posted Wed October 12, 2005:
Nice color and sharp. Well done

A visitor from Brazil posted Wed October 12, 2005:
It's a paint scheme we don't usually see around there. Way better than Wunala Dream. Red is a difficult colour to set nicely in aircraft. All mighty of the 747 helps a lot too, full flaps down, engines running, windows vent closed. Amazing!
Ready on short finals it's impressive! By far the best photo I've seen.

A visitor from Germany posted Wed October 12, 2005:

The angle is striking. You really get the impression of the power, size, and beauty of both the aircraft and its paint scheme.

A visitor from Philippines posted Tue October 11, 2005:
I can see the landing gears clearly, the angle of the sunlight making each part distinct and all "geared up' for touch down. I can also see that the engine turbines are "running". Great moments are made of these!

A visitor from Canada posted Tue October 11, 2005:
