The lighting and haze mixed with the ground cover in the foreground give the impression of a giant towering over a jungle.

What I like about this picture is the relaxing atmosphere, as if the jumbo jet just woke up into a field of fog and sunrise. The angle in which the jumbo jet is photographed is very aesthetic, because it shows the size very impressively. But I do not see an ultra-special-outperforming aspect in this picture. Maybe too pale colours.

The serenity of the early morning and the misty fog outlining this giant with engines quietly whining in warm-up for takeoff.

This picture just brings home the feeling of travel by showing that even at this hour the big bird is up and about delivering its expectant passengers.

This photo is magnificent.Everything about it is perfect, it really captures your eye from the beginning. I hope this magnificent big girl stays in the air even with the first A380 arriving. It will never replace her, she is the best.

Long live the queen...long live the 747!

It catches the dreamy-mystical-magic of travel, arrival, time and art centred on a magnificent piece of technological achievment which has taken me around the world for which I am forever grateful

Boeing have built many types of Aircraft, but nothing can beat 747 JUMBO's excellence. 747 was the best one ever.

What I like about this photo is that it is not clear whether its just landed or is it about to take off. I like the ambiguity.
