Hhmmm... If 777s could eat 737s, those huge engines could devour that 737 fuselage in an instant, with a side order of thise two little engines.

Pictures like this are always funny. Seems similar to another A.net pic of a 747 right behind a Cessna 172.

Great comparison! Look at the size of the 737´s engines and the triple 7´s. If you look carefully, you will see that the fuselage of the 737 has almost the same diameter of one engine of the 777. T.B.

The engines of the 777 looks as wide as the cabin of the tiny little 737. The engines are my favorite part of the 777 and this is the best angle of those massive engines

That 737 is tiny compared to the 777 behind it. Look at the difference between the engine sizes.

I would want to say a big well done to yhis photographer. The picture looks stupendous overall. It would have been nice to see an A330-200 in front of the Boeng 777 so as to make a relative comparison of wing dimensions.

I never belived that the diameter of the 777 engines are the same as the diameter of the fuselage of a 737. Thanks for proving that Erwin ;)

Awesome picture, man!
It's amazing to think that the size of the GE90's is the same as the 737's body. This photo really, for the first time showed the two together, so we can compare the sizes.
Just amazing!

It is correct (more or less); 737 fuselage and GE90 are both between 3.3 -3.6 meters in diameter, dont remember exact numbers.
You can read the name of the 777, 'Darjeeling Railway', therefore it is PH-BQD.

This really shows how huge the GE90s are compared to the tiny 737!! WOW!!

Realy good picture, the size comparison is amazinbg

I'd read the dimensions, but the 737 and 777 look about the same in your standard airborne photo. Engine size relative to fuselage size and all that, it'd be hard to tell the difference in silhouette with no scale. But the 777 is huge.
