I worked for a company that for a few years had a Widgeon that was a great means of transportation in the marshes and coastal Louisiana. This was after having moved through Cessna 170s, 180s and a 195. All with floats. For our purposes the 195 was likely the most efficient. This was with one pilot who at 85+ still had multi-emngine jet license and had never dented a wing. Obviously he was part of the greatest generation. | |
