Remark Photographer
NX109J / 0392 (cn 186) Built by Messerschmitt in the very first batch of 109s delivered to Spain (designated as a Hispano HA-1112-M1L, served with the Spanish AF as C.4K-122). Douglas Champlin purchased her in 1972 and spent years converting her to complete Bf-109 specification (as NX109J). The Hispano engine was replaced with an original Daimler-Benz DB601, wingtips resculpted and many panels (inc engine cowl) replaced with original Messerschmitt components. Painted in the markings of Hans "Assi" Hahn.
