A visitor from United States posted Sun December 18, 2005:The fact that this photo is even IN Airliners.net is fabulous in itself. I am an ex-Mesaba Airlines employee. Back when MVA flew into MSP, Mesaba (XJ) was contracted to work these flights. I probably worked this flight when it came into the gate, but had no idea that a professional photographer had just taken it's picture. The picture is wonderful also because you can tell it's arriving due to the fact that one engine is shut down - the side the passengers deplane from. It has a great view, also, of the cockpit where you can see the crew, as well as the side view of passengers. You can also tell immediately this was in MSP. Everything in this picture is so clear, and it's wonderful to see such a great snapshot of history shown on this site. Thank you, Mr. Marmet and Airliners.net. | |
