That Buran looks like a model of the Space Shuttle that my nephew mangled when he was six. I'd give anything to be there and walk up those green stairs.

Lots of planes

A visitor from Bulgaria posted Thu November 27, 2008:
An exquisite shot of rare subjects all in one place. The Buran is not the actual shuttle, it's the "training", "athmospheric" vehicle so it does sport 4 jets instead of the rocket motors.

A visitor from Australia posted Thu November 13, 2008:
Wow, what a collection! Tu-144, Tu-160, Buran, etc etc... Was this an airshow or museum or something?

A visitor from United States posted Tue December 11, 2007:
Is it just me or is the buran sporting four jets on its back? it would seem so from the FOD covers on those four pods on the back...

A visitor from - posted Sun November 26, 2006:
This picture is cool, it represents Russian history with all the old and new aircraft, especially the Tupolev jets.

That VM-T comes from the Bison design. Am I right? T.B.
