A visitor from United States posted Fri October 9, 2009:I wonder if it's really that heavy to carry this shuttle. At speed, the shuttle's wing surface will generate some lift as well. So the heaviest load this 747 will experience is probably during landing and take off.

A visitor from Belgium posted Wed June 17, 2009:What a challenge to make this pair flying! I would have liked to see the faces of the development team when an engineer simply said: "About the return ? Well, humm... why not to screw it on the roof of a 747 ?? (And also the face of the pilot who have had to be the first to takeof with this bird). YdC
