N817NA (cn 12287) Seen rolling runway 27 for departure back to EDW (Edwards AFB, California). Built for USAAF - United States Army Air Force as a C-47A-5 wearing 42-92482, then U.S. Navy as R4D-5 wearing 17136. Sits derelict at GDL (Guadalajara) as XA-ROM. This is the first and only NASA DC-3 I have ever seen in SAN.
