Back home, this time for good. This T-38, which was the very first one put into service was first delivered to the Air Force as 59-1603, spent some time with the US Navy, and then finally NASA flew for the last time today. She came in from Johnson Space center, landed in El Paso, and Phoenix, then here at KLAX at 14:00. The plane will go to Northrup Grumman's company's headquarters for the Integrated System sector in El Segundo on permanent display.

I'm glad you were there to record this event. The T-38 being such an important element of flight training in the United States and foreign militaries as well.
