"Discovery" sits on Pad 39B with the crew in their seats. The crew access arm begins to swing away from the orbiter and we are minutes away from the launch of STS-119 to the ISS. The orbiter is illuminated by the Xenon lights however the Sun has dipped beneath the horizon and I am 4 miles south of the pad. The fireworks are about to begin! [Canon 1Ds MK II;Focal Length: 1200.0mm;Exposure Time: 0.025 s (1/40) Aperture: f/8.0;ISO equiv: 125]

The fact that it's mission ready and manned adds to the moment you're captured. 5* and - well done!
