I'm 63 years old, and can remember flying to Orly airport from New York with my Mother, Brother and Sister. It was a first time flight for Myself and my Brother and Sister. What an awesome experience especially at night seeing the changing exhaust colors as the pitch and mixture(s)changed.

Nostalgia....Flying this beauty from New York to Paris with my Mother, Brother and Sister. Watching and listening to the engines as the mixtures and propellor pitch changed and seeing the exhaust colors change (at night).A truly memorable experience back in 1957.

When I was a kid growing up in the 1950s I flew on the DC-6 a number of times. What a thrill it was for me.

Lighting, color, depth...this photo has it all with the feeling that you're actually there, preparing to take your seat! Thanks!
