Notice the firewall shutoffs are all pulled and marked with red streamers so they were probably doing maintenance. I don't understand why the controls are tied because the six had an excellent built in gust lock that locked all three controls unless they were working on the gust lock.

Instruments and controls are clearly visible! Great view of "the way it was", many items like "RMI" which is not used anymore. Interesting how trottles and prop control levers are arranged. Flying in those days certainly was more demanding of the pilots than in todays electronic flat pannel displays with all its additional help.
