VT-XRM (cn SP002) Multi-role Light Transport. Note what looks like tufts applied to the aft fuselage, engine pylon and tail planes. Edit. this aircraft went down 30-40km outside Bangalore, resulting in the deaths of all three crew members on board. This was the second prototype of two such aircraft.

RIP to the Fallen. ASTE and NAL covered-up the design and Relighting flaws. too bad we have not recovered from the loss.

The little "tufts" noted in this photo are strings used to evaluate airflow on the respective surface. This aircraft was/is still in the evaluation phase when this photo was taken.

This Airplane resembles very closely the platform of the "Embraer CBA 123 Vector" which never went into production.
