As a former Employee of NEA before the Delta Purchase these photo's bring back many, many memories. The unique thing is that while the aircraft (CV 880 & DC-6A are of the orginial colors the "Lav" truck under the termainal has the new "Yellow Bird" Scheme this realy dates the photo. I Have many photos of NEA aircraft from MIA where I was a Lead Mechanic at and JFK where I was a Hanger Mechanic.

Hello folks,
i was a a&p mechanic for nea at both jfk, and mia from 1964 through to '72, (dal time). this photo shows nea's dc-6a (which i was a letter check mech.), and the transistion to "yellow bird" see the honey wagon. i believe the white coveralled mech is a barry Kravchuck, and the gentleman standing was a mr. j. tancready line forman.
