82-0062 / 339 (cn GG1001) A prototype of the new Northrop F20 fighter jet visits Logan Airport during the Summer of 1983 (note Control Tower in background). Only 3 were ever built and just 1 survives today at the Los Angeles County Museum of Science. Due to lack of overseas sales further developement was terminated in November of 1986. Total project cost at that point was a staggering $1.2 billion dollars, the most expensive commercial venture ever!
