A visitor from Argentina posted Wed July 1, 2009:I'm so happy that Northwest airlines has instaled PTV's to 747's economy :)
A visitor from United States posted Sat April 11, 2009:This is the most detailed picture I've been able to find showing exactly what the upper deck business class looks like. You get a real feel for precisely what you'll experience on your flight.
A visitor from United States posted Sat September 13, 2008:Nice. I've always wanted to travel on the upper deck of a 747-400 - looks roomy & bright. Regarding the TVs, it looks like they retract out of the way for boarding, then drop down when in use, but I'm not 100% sure.
A visitor from Japan posted Mon August 25, 2008:The TVs retract into the ceiling to make overhead space for people walking in the aisles. They're not used much aside from during safety demonstrations.
A visitor from United States posted Wed July 9, 2008:The TV monitor will extend after departure.
A visitor from United States posted Thu March 6, 2008:What's with the TV above the door? It only looks like a partial one.
A visitor from United States posted Wed November 7, 2007:It's before departure, thus the door is open. It's nothing to freak out about. Great photo!
A visitor from Canada posted Tue November 6, 2007:Welcome to cabin views, N668US! Regarding the earlier comment on the flight deck door being open. The remarks indicate the picture was taken before departure. All flight deck doors are typically left open while the plane is on the ground. Much easier for ramp guys & F/A's to work between their respective areas and the cockpit crew before departure.
A visitor from United States posted Fri November 2, 2007:Lovely photo but whats with the DOOR?!?!? Has not the changing times with air travel and security taught us anything?
A visitor from Australia posted Fri November 2, 2007:It looks very spacious and airy, especially for the upper deck of a 747. Thanks for sharing.
