Hurts to see a NW heavy chopped up..good photo, but the watermark detracts from it.

As a former employee who was there when this one was new I have really mixed feelings. The photo is excellent but the aircraft looks like the present day company, old and going to peices.

NW is the last major carrier in the world to obsolete old 747s (100 and 200 series). Guess that is how it remains financially okay after all rivals filed Chapter 11. Poor industry !!!

An original view of a famliar sight. It makes me think of my own mortality as once this aircraft reigned the skies and now she is at the end of her life. :(
