Its more uncommon at DTW to see a DC9 pushback insted of a powerback, but great shot!

Yes, the guy at the top is absolutely right.
It's not rare there at all. Even here in Winnipeg. It's sometimes quite common. We get NWA DC-9's in from Minneapolis here daily. And we get quite a few going to MSP from Winnipeg too. The DC-9 is one of my favorite planes. Love that reverse push back.
