These older piston driven aircraft are much more interesting than the newer turbofans.

The aft fuselage displays a pointer (widget) pointing Northwest... Sign of things to come?? Delta now displays a red widget pointing Northwest on the tail (starboard side)

The a/c itself, the place, the time and the details involved like the engine's smoke, eveything one had at that time.

Excellent shot of double-bubble fuselage showing the B-29 tail and lower chassis. Photo clearly shows passenger door below a "W" & window detail. Lower deck cocktail lounge windows and rear flight controls clearly visible. It's not possible to see the Stratocruiser today in its original shape.
