Remark Photographer
U (cn 320) Taken early in the morning after a supercrane finally lifted the centersection and wing from the bottom of the murky Thjorsa glacial river where it had lain since 1943. It was then dismantled and along with the rear fuselage and one float recovered earlier sent to Northrop at Hawthorne California in a RNoAF C-130H. There it was beautifully restored to static condition and sent via Iceland to the museum at Gardemoen where it now resides, the only one of 24 built to still exist.
