TS-IQA (cn 970) This A321 is on rolling for take-off from rwy23. Note the smoke coming out of the nose wheel. 5 min after take-off the pilot reported having problems to lock the landing gear, ATC gave authorization to return and land according to the emergency procedure. When the nose wheel touched the ground the left wheel broke apart and ended up on the grass along the runway, the other wheel still maintained the aircraft. The pilot managed to evacuate the runway safely.
