Did this whole airline go bankcrup? Notice the little truck parked under the engine of the largest plane.

See the small gate between airport and the street. Nice airport.

Great pic.

Icedragon, I've been to Nigeria several times, $1000 wouldn't cover even the shipping costs.
Getting things done in Nigeria are EXTREMELY difficult, so I would say your chance of ever getting your hands on this equipment about zil.

This is such a sad sight to me when the aircrafts are put out of commision so it is a wonderful picture, mainly cause i feel bad for even non-living things. But, I would adopt on of these aircraft if anyone knows how, even if the engines are striped out and seats too, as long as the eletrical system is still there and works then i'm good. If you know of anything where you can adopt aircrafts for very low prices such as 1,000 or less that would be great, so if you do email me at IceDragon93522@aol.com. by the way i'm only 14 but could aford something of 4,000 or a little more

Nice picture, sad story, I used to live in Benin-City in 1998/99 and passed the airport every morning, seeing those planes. Since the airport was closed that time I never had a chance to see them from that angle. I still have a boarding pass from 1989 issued by Okada Air -liked their company logo.

Five star, because I used to work for Okada in Benin City (I'm a Brit). I was there when the Hangar was built, and when the 747 was delivered. The 727 was after my time.
Tragic sight!!

I saw some of the Okada 727's and the 747 when I worked at Stansted, and it is a interesting to see the current state of these once fine aircraft
