WOW! Haven't seen many of these birds in years!
I feel the need to add some additional info to the photo. The airplane is taxiing on taxiway Hotel on its way to RNW 27 , the two flocks of birds are actualy really far away from the aircraft and are in no way putting the engines in danger. By the time the aircraft reached the runway the birds were long gone. Its just a really good visual illusion that the plane and the birds might collide. Regards Ivan Angelov - BGspotters team
My oh my what a shot! Not something you see everyday, is it?! Dramatic and absolutely stunning! Bravo na teb Ivane!
Many smaller birds vs a large one. Never seen so many birds at SOF.
Pretty photo but a potentially dangerous situation...a flock of birds that size at an airport could have tragic consequences....
Great capture of these two flocks of birds. Did any birdstrike happen that day?
Fortunately it was not taking off right into that huge flock! ;)
What are the chances of prop-syncronization while taxiing! -or- Is this a DHC-8 cuisinart!
Amazing shot! It's great that there is a hole within the flock and the plane is framed by the birds
The beauty of the nature(birds and mountains)as well as the man-made structure is been shot very beautifully giving it mesmerizing feel.
A very clever angle to shoot from. It isn't obvious at first that the Q400 is actually taxiing as the plane and birds capture your attention first. Very well done Sofia.
Fantastic shot. 5 Stars.
Fantastic picture. Birdstrikes, anyone?
Wow! I wonder how a prop would handle compared to jet engines.
At the right place and time!
Stunning shot! Congratulations!
I don't even know what to say - that's just perfect! Great capture. ~Vik
