That "strange car" belongs to the Fire & Rescue Service and is based upon a modified first-generation Range Rover - The RAF had a few of them at one time.

That cute little plang os called a g-shog. It was originally powered by two chainsaw engines, each with nine horsepower. The final production version has a total of 30 horsepower. I'm pretty sure it can take off in only about two hundred feet;its the smallest twin engine. Does anyone know if they are still made?
