The angle and lighting are good, and the fact that this is a "one & only" aircraft makes it more noteworthy. I saw this bird parked on the apron at TLV last month. Now when looking at the aircraft's history, I am quite sure that I was onboard many years ago when the paint scheme was indeed orange (good ol' CP Air). Keep up the good work, Erez.
Oh how it does make me happy to see one of the ex 747-217B CP's still flying. Hmmm, I wonder if they would consider painting it ORANGE? Hehehe :) Maybe a red stripe with a bare aluminum belly. I think I saw that once and it looked really good. ;)
I think this photo was taken between "Airport city" (hi-tech zone) and road #40, since I've been there few times.
Its a nice angle and a nice plane.and its a new airline its cool=)
Where did you stand to take this shot? Me, i can only recommend the Parking of ELDAN when rwy 30 is in use. Another possibility is to stand near to the fuel station at the entry of llbg for rwy 30.
Great shot, I like the paintjob except for the tail. It is also very nice to see a good old 747-200 still alive and kicking. It is the only Boeing widebody I have ever flown on, nice aircraft.
I like this orange, coz long time i was waiting to fly for this airline
So what's next? Vodka Airlines?
Nice shot but also I must agree that we could do better(painting the orange or tangerine) at age six!!
I was at TLV earlier today and I saw this a\c and I was wondering what it was. Now I know!
Exceting new airline and colours!
Nice shot, like the tail design.
Thay probably used PIA's leftover paint scheme and put an orange on the tail :) Nice photo!
Good to see a new African 747 operator...I bet it's an ex PIA machine!!
ErezS You are the best! | |
Oh! This is The Ex- PIA (Pakistan International Airlines). Pakistan Sold This Aircraft TO Israeli Airline ? BTW Nice Shot
I don't like the tail, but everything else looks great.
Interestingly, two photos of this plane, taken 20 years apart, are uploaded the same day! See photo 985637 Still flying! Still orange!
Nice pic, dont you guys think its looks kina like PIA 1990's livery, jut green on the belly
Started in big style! | |
Great shot but frankly, I could've painted the livery better myself when I was making an Airfix at age 6! The livery looks cheap and very nasty!
I love oranges and 747 - 200s so 5 stars
A nice simple yet effective livery, captures the colours well. Any chance anyone has the website for this new airline? What routes do they operate?
I saw it landing in LLBG while driving at the highway, and she looked good!
Great shot! | |
Nice livery. Love that green belly.
Great Photo !! ErezS is the BEST !!
It's amazing that this aircraft is still flying after such a long history! To have been flying with CP Air definitely makes it a workhorse. I hope it stays in one piece and serves the company well.
Livery is a bit bland. | |
Thank you Erez! The #1 spotter in Israel! Or may be #2? Sender is #1?
Good shot ! | |
Congratulations to the new airline & to the photographer. Cheers!
I love this angle! | |
