N943PS / 43 (cn 48098/1060) "Smile of San Diego". Grinningbird is approaching runway 27 for departure. Registration has been moved from engine cowling to fuselage. First flight was February 17, 1982. Delivery date was May 27, 1982. Built as MD-81, cvt'd to MD-82. Other serials - TC-MNS with MNG Airlines, N818US with USAir, and also YR-MDS with JetranAir and Air Ivoire. Last revenue flight with USAir was December 3, 2001, and stored at MHV for short time.
