 A visitor from United States posted Sun August 9, 2009:This shows you how great and strong of a plane the 777 is, the fuselage is barely damaged! I heard that everyone walked away from this incident. The 777 is actually the safest Commercial jet in service as no one has ever died on one and the only incidents with the 777 ever to happen were because of the rolls royce engines. | |

I agree too, I'd fly with BA any day, the pilots here showed absolute professionalism in the most difficult circumstances. The cabin crew also acted in a textbook manner and what could have been a catastrophe ended up just being an unfortunate mishap. Congratulations to all on a job well done. | |
