1/40 second panning blur. It was nice to get this one with the old Pan Am name right in front of me. I took a chance on blurring the shot and it worked out well.

I thought this was an incredibly done pic of an incredibly reliable airplane - thank you for keeping the -27 alive in the hearts of aviation enthusiasts - while making the background colorful and alive, you kept the focus on this fantastic airplane!!!

It's a great and beautiful shot with excellent panning blur skill and well-prepared arrangement. And B 727 with PAN AM color is my favorite. Thank you Hartsfield.

Most beautiful aircraft ever built! Very nostalgic shot, looks like it came right out of the 1980's.

Perfect 'Pan Am ing' !!!
The skill involved in slow shutter / high speed-of-subject photography is a very fine line between success & failure.
This picture is a total success; position, background colour, timing, rotation, clarity of subject, all spot on.

Nice picture of a classic plane. Eventhough gas guzzlers such as 727 should not fly anymore.

To catch the speed and and have the movin object right in focus just at the perfect moment, I know it´s hard work... Extremely well done, and thank you for providing a wonderful image of an airline unfortunately gone... Your picture stays!! Greatfully Friedhelm Keck, Germany

Great shot that actually conveys to the viewer the speed of the aircraft -- I wish more photographers would shoot this way!

"...and it worked out well" is a bit of an understatement. I don't think anyone could get a better photo than this: perfectly centered, incredibly sharp, and an immaculate 727. Probably one of the best shots ever I've seen. Very Nice - 5 Stars!
