"Clipper Juan T. Trippe". Approaching runway 25R on its final visit to Frankfurt. This flight (routing CDG-FRA-MIA) was quite a surprise as Pan Am had officially ceased their transatlantic operations with the last 747 service to JFK on November 1, 1991. N747PA was delivered in October 1970 and its life with Pan Am was only interrupted by a 2-years lease to Air Zaire as N747QC in the early 70’s. Wfu 12/91. [Kodachrome 64]
