Pan Am's B747-121 N754PA taxies away from Sydney's new International Terminal. The First Boeing 747 arrived in Australia on 04Oct1970, two months before. This aircraft has been heavily used, and is definitely in need of a wash. (To date, the only Pan Am B747 shown in Sydney in the Airliners.net database was N751PA. This photo, and others of N741PA prove that N751PA was not 'Robinson Crusoe' - other Pan Am B747 'Clippers' had visited Sydney.) Across Rwy16/34 are an Ansett-ANA Electra, an F-28 and two DC-3s.
